I just recently tried Nivea skin cream. I had not tried this brand of cream before so I wanted to try something new. I purchased this 6.80z jar of skin cream for under eight bucks! I was not sure what to expect but I really wanted a good cream to hydrate my dry skin. Moisturizing regularly can lessen the appearance or fine lines and help hydrate skin making it look and feel softer and smoother.

I tried this cream the other day and put it on my face and body. This cream works very well. Better than I had anticipated. My skin was instantly softer and smoother everywhere! This cream is designed for face, body and hands. It is wonderful because it is ok to use all over the skin. I really noticed a big difference on my hands. They actually look younger. Dry hands can look older if not properly moisturized. It also made my face look better as well. My skin looks healthier so I'm happy. Wow who knew eight bucks could do so much for my skin. Remember moisture can make skin look younger. Try this product and you will love it!

We have all been hurt by someone close to us at some point in our lives. The important thing is to try to let go of the anger. Letting go of anger helps reduce stress due to disappointment. Harboring a negative emoticon such as anger is counter productive to your well being. Feeling angry for long periods of time may increase stress and anxiety in your own life. Many people have unresolved issues with those close to us. Life is so short and the longer I am here in this world the more I realize anger is a wasted emotion. People are not always going to treat you properly and there will be many people that will hurt you over the span of your life. The important thing is how you deal with these issues. Sometimes people can disassociate themselves with those that have hurt us deeply or others just want to hang around to hurt you even more which is even worse! It is your choice what you do with the people that have hurt you but one thing is for sure, regardless of the situation you should forgive them to relieve that anger and let go of the hurt.

Sometimes anger can build up for years and it can take over your life. No one should ever have that much control of your emotions. The best thing to do for yourself is to forgive. This can really help you heal on a mental level. Try to focus on the good things and blessings in your life. Positive energy can really make you feel better in general. Everyone struggles with people in their lives at one time or another. Unfortunately, most people can't be changed so don't try to change them. If they are hurting you they know they are doing it. Just release yourself from the situation and try to focus on the good in others. Forgive the person but don't make yourself vulnerable to their behavioral patterns. Do for them what they are willing to do for you. If you have tried your best but still are not getting a good response you may want to end the relationship, if it is a friend or family member and you feel it is for the best. That is your choice. Just remember to forgive for your sake to release the anger and tension build up. It is not your problem so don't take it on.

Sometimes our lives are so busy we tend to let some things wait. When it comes to our health it should be made top priority. An annual pap smear is a highly effective tool on the battle against cervical cancer. Most cervical cancer can be effectively treated if early detection screening is done annually. Pap smears are mildly uncomfortable and very much worth the time and hassle to make sure your feminine health is taking priority. If there are any other complications or issues to be addressed don't be afraid to ask your doctor questions. You will not die of embarrassment but cancer is a serious disease and prevention is the key to survival. The earlier stages of cancer are the most treatable so never put your health last on your to do list. Pap smears can can save lives!

If you are 35 or even younger you may want to start having mammograms done. If you are at high risk or have many women in your family with a history of breast cancer you may want to consult your physician to ask when to receive regular screenings. Sooner is always better. These exams may cause mild anxiety due to false alarms and biopsy concerns but in the end it is a far greater anxiety then to face cancer. Technology is advancing regularly on the fight against breast cancer. It is important to be screened to prevent the cancer to advancing to later stage cancers that can be aggressive and more difficult to treat.

If you have any strange moles, spots or lesions on your skin, then you should be screened by a dermatologist. Skin cancers are on the rise. Often people do not use sunscreen as often as they should. Tanning beds are dangerous as well. Frequent use of tanning beds greatly increases your risk of skin carcinomas. Spray that tan on and keep those wrinkles away as well! Tanning is a quick fix but that is not without possible health risks.

An annual physical at your primary care Doctor's office should be a place to discuss health concerns and symptoms you may be experiencing. If you have a suspicious mole or skin growth make sure you see a dermatologist to be safe. Two opinions are always better than one when it comes to your heath. Most women carry a bag or purse but most times we have too much or too little in our pocket books. There are a few pointers I want to share to organize and be prepared. Now everyone has a cell phone but many times our phone is dis-shoveled in our purse and we look for our phone for so long that it stops ringing before we can actually locate it. I think a medium size purse is best to insure we carry just the right amount of necessities with us. Yes our cell phone and other items are necessary. :) Try to choose a purse that has a few small zip pockets for cell phone and keys or camera so you don't spend so much time trying to find these items in a large purse.

A small hand held mirror is a must to check for proper make up or even something stuck in the teeth. A small travel size perfume is a must. A small make up bag is great for storing make up. Remember only bring the make up you need for touch ups. If you only apply foundation at home than you can leave that item at home but perhaps bring a sheer powder or concealer touch up stick for a a quick fix. Tweezers are a must for a quick eye brow grooming in minutes. Eyeliner and lipstick as well as lip liner and or gloss should be all you really need. You probably won't need to bring mascara, most women only apply this once a day and most likely touch up is unlikely. One eyeshadow with multiple colors can make a great alternative to packing 10 different shadows and it saves room in your purse! A facial moisturizer travel size is great for dry skin on the run. Remember to bring a multi- purpose make up brush to touch up. Hairspray travel size can save room as well.

If you purchase a small change purse to organize receipts it can make your bag much more organized. A wallet with a change purse helps organize floating change that can be a hassle. If your wallet is crammed with credit cards you don't use or are trying to pay off leave them at home so you don't get the urge to use them. Only carry necessary credit cards and check to see if you are carrying expired or out dated cards as well. A travel size tooth brush and paste is great to clean those teeth after lunch. Try to keep your purse fairly simple so your items are easily located. A day planner may help you organize daily task. I know I need to write things downs so I can check things off my to do list. It feels better to be organized and prepared to start your day on the right foot!

I believe as women we all have types of men that we are attracted to. Some women prefer to date tall men or men with dark hair or certain ethnic backgrounds. Many times women can't find Mr. Right because they are under the assumption he just doesn't exist. The truth is that Mr. right just might be hiding behind all those other men you seem to be attracted to. Sometimes women don't give a nice guy a chance to shine. Try to be more open about your dating choices. We don't want to waste time dating the wrong men but just give someone that is not your visual so called type a chance and you just may be surprised. Attraction is very important but don't end the date early because he isn't as you had imagined. Give him a chance to show you his personality and character. Often attraction runs deep when you enjoy the quality of the person you are spending time with.

The key to finding Mr. Right is just to keep an open mind and not judge too quickly. If you are in the dating world try not to jump into a serious romance too quickly. Love is a complex emotion and it is not very easy to find, so go slow and get to know the potential love interest. You may want to be friends with a potential male love interest to see if he is willing to get to know you on a personal and intellectual level. It is much less stressful to have a male friend to bond with and see where it goes. If you are friends you can hang out with no pressure. If you feel a connection than there may be potential but if not you have gained a buddy to hang out with. Just remember if you are not attracted to your male friend than don't cross the line on romance. This will ensure you can remain friends and nothing more to keep the friendship from going sour.

QUICK FIX SOLUTIONS TO SIMPLE ISSUES

PIMPLE TRICK
Believe it or not there are a few household items that actually should help pimples. Yes I believe if you apply toothpaste to a pimple when it first becomes noticeable than it may significantly reduce the size of the blemish and helps dry up excess oil production. The toothpaste that has worked for me is just plain white toothpaste. A whitening toothpaste may contain irritants due to the whitening ingredients. This little trick may work for you. Try it and see. Another trick is to put eye drops on a pimple to reduce redness. It helps inflammation of the eyes and can help reduce skin redness due to acne or irritation.

ENHANCE THIN LIPS FAST
Thin lips can be enhanced if you know how to give the illusion of plumpness with the right make up application techniques. If you want your lips to appear more voluminous than try this make up technique. All you need is lipstick and lip liner. Apply your lipstick just above the lip line on both the upper and lower lip. Then apply your lip liner in the same way just above the lips for thin lips. Make sure you don't over do it. You don't want that clown look so just slightly above the lip line. Personally my lower lip is full but I use this technique on my upper lip to enhance the appearance of volume and symmetry with my lower lip to make both lips more even or uniform.

PERFECT YOUR BROW
If your eyebrows are uneven or not symmetrical it can help to use a brow liner. This liner should have a blender on the end to make a more natural finish and a smooth application. If your arch is different on one eyebrow than the other and it happens to grow that way than just use a brow blender to make more symmetry. For eye brows that are too far apart fill in that area. The perfect eyebrow can really enhance the true beauty of the eyes and make them very noticeable. when using a brow liner make sure it is close to your hair color. a shade or so darker for light hair is a good choice as well. Just make sure you don't choose a black brow liner if you have pale hair or skin. This may clash. Make sure your arch is in the middle of the eyeball at the highest point as a reference. This is also a great tool for light colored brows to make them more visible in order to enhance the true beauty of the eye. The key in all make up techniques is to enhance your true beauty so let it shine.

First dates can be nerve wracking. The anticipation of the date is actually what may create the most anxiety. Sometimes we think to ourselves that this could be the one! I think if you don't expect too much on your first date than it may be less stressful. Just try to focus on having a good time and possibly getting to know someone new. It may be a new love interest,a new friend gained or possibly a bad romance! Just like Lady Gaga would say! If you are lucky it just may be love. Keep in mind true love is extremely hard to find. Try not to think about what may happen and just be spontaneous! I personally feel people find things when they are actually not looking for them. If you want something too badly it most likely will not happen at the moment we would like.

Ok, so now that you have a date you may think what should I wear or how should I carry myself. The answer is you should be completely yourself. If you are not true to yourself he may like the person you are trying to be and that is a recipe for disaster. At some point you will want to be yourself and what if he does not approve? I believe he does not have to approve of anything. You should be yourself and never think of changing or putting on an act on for anyone. You should have the confidence to love who you are inside as a person too much. I believe confidence and smiling and very attractive qualities in the choice of a partner. People are attracted to those that smile and have a good time. Laughter is so important to have daily in order to help combat our struggles in life. Now it depends on where you are actually going in order to know what to wear. I think wearing something fitted and mildly sexy but not too revealing should make a good first impression. I believe first impressions are important so try to look your best so you feel confident and comfortable. Wear colors that compliment your skin tone. If you are pale a nice sky blue or dark fuchsia or a hot red color clothing can make blue eyes and light hair pop. If you are dark complected than a nice deep green,hot red or off white can really make dark tones more striking. Stay away from colors that will wash you out. Luckily everyone can wear black so that is always safe and it makes you look thinner!

Make sure your date is kind and courteous. If his cell phone is ringing and he is on the phone or distracted too much you should not waste your time. Make sure your date is interested in conversation and listening to you. If he is constantly staring at your breasts or just acting like a pig than head for the exist! Everyone has a different opinion of who should pay but I believe your date should pay for your first date. Every situation is different but he should want to do something nice for you. If your date thinks he is going to get lucky or wants anything sexual right away than he is not looking for love and in the long run it is not a good idea to let your self worth go by the waist side. Casual sex is definitely wrong in my opinion. If you have a man's respect than you have gained quite a bit in my book.

If things go well and you enjoy the time being spent together you may want to consider another date. Just take things slow and see how things go. Don't jump into anything too quick. If he really likes you than he will stick around. Don't smother him or be too clingy. In general men dislike that and it scares them. You should want someone who wants you just as much. If not than it is not mutual so don't waste your time. There are so many people out there and if you make dating a regular part of your life you will find someone of interest eventually. I wanted to tell you my experience with Amarige perfume by Givenchy. I have been using this perfume for many years. I can't believe the amount of compliments I received when I wore this perfume. Men and woman both stop me in my tracks frequently and ask me what perfume I was wearing. After wearing this perfume a few weeks I started to get used to the attention this scent attracted. Do it yourself hair mask!

Now look in your refrigerator and see if you may already have these ingredients to make your own hair mask! First ingredient, 1 banana! Yes you will need to mash one up in a bowl with a fork or you can put it in a chopper or a blender. Next ingredient is half of a avocado. The last ingredient is a table spoon of yogurt. You can use more if you have long thick hair or less for shorter or thin hair. Put all the ingredients together and mix. Apply mask and allow mixture to stay on hair and scalp for approximately 15 minutes then rinse.

You may also want to try the olive oil and honey hair mask. You need to mix 2 table spoons of honey with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. If you want to keep you hair up and off the face you may apply a shower cap. If this mixture is left on the hair and scalp for 30 minutes it will help smooth the cuticle and add much needed moisture. After rinsing mask you may shampoo and condition as needed.

Egg mask is an easy quick fix to give hair some needed damage control. Mix 2 eggs in a bowl and apply to hair and scalp. Allow this mixture to stay on the scalp and hair for 10 minutes or more. Then follow by rinsing as well as shampoo and or condition. These food mask are so convenient quick and natural. There are natural ways to help improve the hair's cuticle and allow natural nourishment to help improve moisture levels and manageability. What to do to get rid of those last stubborn 10 pounds!

If you are trying to get lean but do not have much time to squeeze in long amounts of exercise you may want to consider a Tread mill. If you have a fairly healthy diet and are not able to exercise for long amounts of time due to time constraints or lack of babysitters than purchasing a tread mill may be a quick and easy solution to get rid of those last stubborn pounds you want to shed.

Now that you are considering a tread mill for home use make sure it is not accessible to young children due to possible injury. You need to build up stamina slowly to reach your goal. A few minutes or brisk walking on the treadmill is a great warm up routine. If you are not ready to run for long amounts of time you can run for 5 minute intervals and walk fast for 5 minutes. This may help you to burn calories by running then fast walking.

In my experience I love to run on the tread mill. It is a wonderful way to burn calories and lose weight. Sometimes people walk on the treadmill for long amounts of time. I personally think it is better to run even if you need to break up the time into intervals in order to rest. It is beneficial to get your heart rate up to burn calories. Consider 30 minutes on the treadmill. Warm up for 10 minutes with a medium pace walk. Next break up running into 5 minute intervals if you are not able to run for long distances. Run for 10 minutes straight or in intervals. Then break up the cool down into fast walking for 5 minutes then switch to 5 minutes of walking slow to cool down. Try to do this a minimum of 3 days a weak.

Remember to watch your fat intake as well as sugar bread and carbs and drink lots of water to accelerate your results! You can do it! It is only 1 hour and a half in your week give or take!

Get rid of those pesky sideburns!

If you want to wear your hair up for that special occasion or you just plain want to keep it off your face I have a trick to get rid of that pesky dark side burns us woman always have to deal with! If you wax female sideburns they may grow back darker and more coarse. This is why I have a perfect trick to camouflage those sideburns so you can get ready for your close up!

I have been using Sally Hansen cream hair bleach. This stuff works great to lighten those pesky side burns! It works in only a few minutes and lightens even the dark hairs to for an undetectable side burn! This product is gentle for a bleaching agent. It also contains aloe to soothe and moisturize the skin!

Bleaching the sideburns is a great solution to camouflage that side burn fuzz! Sally Hansen cream hair bleach is cheap and there are several applications in the package. It is easy to mix and apply. Now Elvis looked great in sideburns but I don't think you want to look like him any time soon! Your local Walmart or CVS and Walgreen's carry this product as well as many other stores. Try it out and you will be happy that there is a quick and easy solution to this female issue!

I was browsing the make up aisle as usual and found a new Revlon product! Now that is exciting. There is a new foundation Called Revlon Photo Ready! I love Revlon products so I had to purchase it because my curiosity got the best of me. I always want to try new cosmetic products to test their effectiveness.

I came home and opened my new Revlon Photo ready foundation. I purchased the color vanilla due to my light complexion. I only spent 12 dollars on this new product so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it! This foundation is oil free and fragrance free so it is ok to use on sensitive skin. This product contains an spf of 20. This is fairly good. Most over the counter foundations are around 10 to 15 spf protection. This foundation has a nice smooth feel and is easy to distribute evenly to the facial skin. After applying and rubbing in gently and evenly to the skin I noticed a soft air brush like look. The skin appears to have a glow and more brightness to the areas applied. This foundation conceals imperfections without a heavy make up look or feel. This is a brilliant choice for an over the counter air brush look without spending a lot of money .

Eyes are such a striking feature for a woman, many men just love the expressions of happiness or joy a woman can give to a man just by using the eyes as a form of expression. Believe me I know looking at someone with a certain eye gesture can spark a man's interest in a matter of seconds. Ladies if you are looking for the perfect brows now then you need to make those brows pop out along with the rest of your eyes! Remember you only get one chance to make a first impression.

Brows can be enhanced in several ways, please follow these steps accordingly to achieve optimum results.
First, remember every brow should have an arch. The problem is that some women are not sure exactly where to place this arch. The highest point in the eyebrow should be just above the middle of the eye. Now if your eyes are spaced apart than you need to grow your eyebrows closer together to give the illusion that the eyes are closer. If your brows are too thin than don't be afraid to fill them in with the proper color. Also use a blender after filling to give a more natural look. Brows should be a shade or two darker than your hair. If you have partial highlights then your natural color should do fine. If you are color treating gray hair, don't be afraid to add that same color to the brow. PROCEED WITH CAUTION and avoid the eyes when applying. Match your brows to your hair color or a shade darker to enhance the eyes.

If you are going to go get your brows waxed for the first time, you may want to bring a picture so you can express exactly what you want if you go to the salon. There are so many shapes a brow can have. Brows do grow fast but to keep them in shape between waxing you may want to buy a small brow groomer. It looks like a tiny pair of scissors. You should use a brow comb to brush them all up then trim them in a straight line to get rid of excess hair and bulk. There are also brow shavers to groom your brows between treatments at your salon or spa. They look like tiny razors. If your brows are thick and grow fast waxing is probably your best option. If you feel up to it you may want to wax your brows yourself. There are hot and cold waxes available for home use. Remember to cleanse the area prior to treatment and apply a calming cream solution when finished. Cold wax is best for sensitive skin. Currently some waxes are self adhered or some still come with cloth strips to pull the hairs off. You can always apply more wax so less is more in this situation. Use a wooden application stick to apply the wax. Give the wax a second to cool before application. Do a finger test if needed! Most woman like to wax under the brow arch and above the brow as well. Don't forget between the eyes if hair is noticeable. Apply wax in an even a steady motion and be careful not to apply too much. Allow hot wax to cool down a bit and adhere to the hairs. Once the wax is hard pull fast in the opposite direction of the hair growth. If a wax strip is provided pull the strip if not pull the wax piece itself.

If you experience a little pain take your finger and press on the area until it passes. Sometimes it takes time to get used to the feeling. After time woman who wax for years say they can barely feel it. Remember to wax in bright light so you can see what you are working with and so you don't miss any hidden hairs! There is also roll on wax available. When waxing don't double dip your wood spatula. This can create a mess and too much wax is not easy to manipulate.

If your brows are excessively thin than there are treatments available at your salon, spa or local beauty supply store to help regrow some of the lost hairs by treating and nourishing the hair follicle itself. Double lash and brow seems to work well and is easy and gentle to use. It helped my brows become thicker. It takes a couple of weeks or longer to see hair growth but it is well worth it. Just apply before bed when you brush your teeth or put on a night facial moisturizer.

When to go blonde and when not to!!!

We all like to change our hair styles and create a unique look from season to season. Sometimes as soon as the spring is here woman want to get rid of that dark winter hair color. Typically woman like to darken their hair in winter and lighten their hair a bit in the spring or summer months. Seems like bright hair and sun have common themes.

Sometimes going for those summer highlights can be a positive change. Blonde hair can be very attractive if you have the skin tone or complexion to pull off this new look. As a guideline if you were born with blonde hair and your hair progressively gets darker over time, highlights can be a way to resume back to your youth in about an hour or so.


If you have olive skin tones or dark complexion many times a solid blonde or pale blonde may not be the right choice for you. Dark hair is very exotic and beautiful as well. When a person has a tremendous amount of pigment in their hair it can be a difficult process to remove or strip the dark color to add blonde or pale tones. Frequently the hair is left damaged if it is lightened with a powerful peroxide or bleach. Many times peroxide and bleach may not be able to remove underlying red tones in darker hair. The result is hair that is brassy or blonde that is reddish.

If you have olive skin or darker you probably don't want to go for a solid blonde. Instead try some light streaks of light brown or dark blonde to accent your gorgeous dark hair. I have blonde hair but I would look terrible if I dyed my hair too dark due to my light complected skin tone and light color eyes. Seems we always want what we can't have!

If your hair is red chances are a blonde highlights can do wonders. Frequently red heads have pale skin and eyes which go great with pale shades of blonde. Strawberry blonde hair looks incredible with a nice partial highlight to accent facial features.

Chunky foil highlighting and blocking are very popular, but if you have a nice solid black shade of hair it can be just as beautiful. Solid black hair can be very smooth and soft due to the absence of harsh bleaches and chemicals. There is nothing more attractive than a smooth soft head of hair that looks healthy and touchable soft!

The point I am trying to make is that if your hair and skin are dark than most likely a high lift or bleach foil is probably not your best choice to accent your natural skin tones. Always enhance those dark tones. Let's face it a nice dark solid color is more appealing than an over processed or damaged reddish blonde.

Relaxation techniques for the over stressed!

Life is so busy in today's fast pace society. More frequently we need to take time for relaxation and to relieve stress associated with such a busy life style. These are a few steps to take to release stress.

First is a long warm bath complete with candles and soft music. Make sure the kids or dog is taken care of by the hubby. Now ask your spouse to have a uninterrupted bath and no knocking on the door for anything. This is important down time. You may want to bring in a book or other interesting reading material.

Another way to relax is to play some relaxation tapes. I love the ocean waves and the nature sounds. The waterfall sounds can be very relaxing. Take the time to breath in and out slowly. This pattern relieves stress and anxiety. Try to clear your mind of errands, bills or other racing thoughts. You may want to add some relaxing body oils to your bath as well. If you have trouble relaxing at night try sleepy time tea.

If baths don't relax you enough you should consider getting a professional massage. Pick someone whom you may feel comfortable with. A massage can actually release stress and improve mood. It is important to relieve stress building up in the mind and body.

Everyone wants spontaneity and romance in their lives. Often relationships can become monotonous and routine with the abundance of life's responsibilities coming before romance. Frequently couples slowly have less and less time for intimacy between household chores,children,work schedules,children's after school activities and home work,pets and often second jobs to supplement income. Life can be a challenge to balance along with your love life. Many times intimacy can take a back seat because after all love does not pay the mortgage payment or feed the family.

Just like children's play dates and scheduled errands or laundry sometimes play time with your significant other can be scheduled as well. You may want put a couple of hours aside weekly to have a date or movie night to reconnect. A candle lit dinner can be so inviting and as soon as your spouse or boyfriend has had a wonderfully cooked meal he is sure to be in the mood for some much needed romance. Don't be afraid to spice things up with a new piece on lingerie or a new fragrance. Men may not tell you all the things they want in the bedroom so don't be afraid to ask and discuss your likes and dislikes so you are on the same page as a couple.

Let's face it men love attention just as much as woman but they are much less likely to admit that. Couples should check in with themselves weekly to discuss their relationship and intimacy issues so that everyone is gratified on the same level. Now a new piece of lingerie is sure to get his motor running. You may also want to buy some really sexy shoes. Stilettos a minimum of 4 inches high is sure to get his attention. Do some dramatic sexy eye make up. A smokey eye can be very exotic. Take a few minutes to to apply a favorite moisturizing oil or lotion to make the skin very sleek and sexy. Put on some romantic music and don't be afraid to give him a nice little dance. Remember men have fantasies too. Why not play a new role or get that sexy nurse or french maid outfit to make things fun. Every man loves a woman that makes effort to entice their sexuality. Chances are if things are working well in the bedroom than everything else can be just as easy if the couple feels very intimately connected.

The moral to this story is to always make time for your love life and intimacy. Sometimes these moments are planned or spontaneous but either way these moments should be frequent and exciting. Never let your busy schedule overwhelm your need for love and affection. Woman are such emotional creatures and men and woman seem happier when they feel close to their spouse. There are many ways to style your hair and create an eye catching look. There are a few basic tools every woman should have at her finger tips. Hair styles come and go but if you have confidence you may create your own new look by becoming bold and daring. This combination can can create confidence to try new things in all aspects of your life. Looking and feeling your best is an essential part of having a positive self image.

I love to blow out my hair with a hair dryer to create a smooth sleek look. I love using a huge round salon brush to smooth the hair cuticle. Every woman should have a large round salon brush. I just purchased a nice wooden round brush. The brand is brush strokes and is very affordable for a professional styling tool. This brush is great for creating volume when combined with a hair dryer spinning the hair in the desired direction. For more volume raise hair up and lift while drying. The higher you lift the hair from the scalp the greater the volume. You may also create more volume by blow drying up side down. For the best results section hair into small sections to make this easy. The smaller the hair section the better you can manipulate the hair.

Another wonderful tool is a flat iron. If you have straight hair you may want to make it look pin straight and smooth. Curly hair may also become pin straight with the use of a flat iron as well. It is wonderful tool to decrease frizz and make the hair appear to have more shine. Straight hair reflects more light so it appears to have more shine. We all want more of that. Straight hair can also help define some of the modern edge style hair cuts and hair styles.

Believe it or not I just love hot rollers. There are many kinds and sizes but I perfer to use large size rollers to create volume. Hot rollers have been around for so long but the look they provide a classic look. Even if you only want a wave or volume you can use small rollers and continue to brush it out to create a voluminous classy look. Even small rollers brushed out can create a bit of lasting volume. You can also use very small rollers to get a tight curl that may be a wonderful bonus to you make up and facial structure.

Lastly I use a large comb with a big handle. It is a helpful tool to untangle knotted hair during wet or dry combing of the hair. This tool is great. I use this large pic like comb to detangle my hair in the bath or shower. I frequently use this comb on my hair while conditioning my hair. I comb through my hair while the conditioner is in to really get rid of knots fast. Try it you will love your knot free hair.

Remember knowledge is power.

Now before you go out purchasing hair serums and shampoo you must address a few key issues. The scalp is often something that is neglected. We usually just skip to the hair itself. The hair and scalp should be considered a system and we must treat both in order to receive the best result. Scalp treatments at your local spa or salon help nourish the hair and scalp. This should be your first step. Scalp treatments help circulate the blood flow of the scalp. This is beneficial for continued hair growth.

If your hair is fine than you should consider frequent trims at your salon and or spa. This helps get rid of damaged hair that can make the hair look drab and thinner. Another trick to ask your stylist for is an undercut. This is a hair style that enhances thin hair by cutting the first layer of hair slightly shorter than the rest. This makes the hair look and appear thicker. This often works well for woman with medium length hair. For men if your hair is very thin on top you may want to consider a very short hair cut. If men keep their hair too long it can really make the hair loss much more noticeable.

How to enhance any liquid foundation!

We all want to have even tone skin. As we age the skin develops uneven skin tones as a result of skin damage and photo aging. Sun exposure increases the chances of having premature aging to the skin. Redness can also develop as a result of excessive sun exposure with out the proper sun screen or sun block.

Many woman begin to notice skin changing in their thirties. Skin needs to be protected at all times. To make the skin have a smooth even flawless look, foundation applied in your shade is a necessary part of your routine. Many foundations only have an spf of 15 and under. This really is a minimal amount of sun screen. I prefer to use spf of 30 or more. I also use sunscreen with 7 percent zinc oxide or greater. If zinc is not present in your current sunscreen or sun block than it is not enough protection from sun damage. Sometimes consumers receive a false sense of satisfaction when they purchase products containing sunscreen. Often the consumer does not realize that 15 spf is not enough protection from the very strong ultra violet rays for those with medium to fair skin tones.

A great way to enhance the sun protection in any liquid foundation is to mix a small amount of sun screen into your foundation. This can provide more sun protection to your current liquid foundation. Just mix in equal parts and apply to face and neck area. It is very important to match your foundation to your skin tones. You don't want to get that caked or mismatched foundation that is very detectable. Make up should enhance your existing features not create a clown like appearance. To help match your foundation match and blend a small amount on the inside of your wrist. This quick tip should help.

If your skin color changes in the summer to winter season due to varied amounts of sun exposure. You may want to mix 2 different color foundations to match your skin tone to create your own custom foundation shade. Your skin may appear darker in summer months and lighter in winter time.. Don't throw out your foundations just mix them to create a custom shade year round and don't forget to add sunscreen or sunblock of 30 spf or greater containing zinc.

I went to Kohl's today and boy was I happy that I did. I had to return a dress I bought recently. I was worried that I may have a hard time exchanging the dress because the strap broke. The cashier was helpful and pleasant. She told me an even exchange on my dress would be no problem! I was so happy. I went to the dress area and they still had my size. I was afraid they would be out of my size because it was a beautiful dress but the store keeps many sizes well stocked.

I browsed around and noticed sale signs every where so instead of leaving the store I decided to shop! The deals there deals are incredible. Sixty five percent and more off of retail prices. Wait that is not all. I also received Kohl's cash back after I made my purchase! What a reward. I feel I was rewarded a free gift just for shopping. That is right CJ can help you! I'm never too busy for beauty! Now let's get to business. Make up is only flattering if you pick the right colors and perform your application properly. Remember if make up is applied in the wrong manner or wrong shade it can take away from your natural beauty.

I will teach you one simple application to create that dramatically sexy eye look. Step one is to purchase black shimmer eye shadow. I use Revlon Perle in a black satin shimmer color. Next is brown Covergirl perfect blend eye liner. Mascara is a must for dramatic eyes. You should purchase black mascara by Cover girl. You have to purchase an eye lash curler to really make the eyes pop. Next is an eye lash comb to separate the lashes. If you really want to go crazy than consider a light false eye lash kit with human hair lashes and self adhesive. Walmart haves some nice false lashes. You also need a small eye brush to blend the eye shadow. If you use false lashes pick one that blends well with your lashes if you want them to be less obvious. False eye lash kits come with self adhesive and are pretty simple to apply. Apply false lashes 30 minutes before eye make up to allow them to dry properly. Apply them just over the lash line.

First apply the eyeliner to the top eye lid just above the eye lash line. Try to apply close to eye lash line. Then proceed with the bottom of the eye lid. Next step is to apply black Revlon eye shadow to the eye lid. Just one complete application. Do not apply several layers it will be too much. Now to use your eye lash curler. Place on eyelashes while eye is open then squeeze while closing eye hold for 15 seconds then repeat on your other eye. Mascara is next, Apply black Cover girl mascara. Do not over apply to avoid clumps with all brands of mascara. Try to put extra on the last lashes in the outside corner of the eyes. This creates a more cat like eye. Next you may choose a gray color for the crease of the eye lid or a medium brown. Next pick a light color from nude to very light tan for your top of the eye crease just under the eye brow. Next blend all 3 colors with your small eye brush. Apply in an upward outward motion. Once lashes are dry use your eye lash separator to smooth the lashes. Lastly use your Cover girl blending eyeliner as a brow enhancer. If your eye brows are thin or uneven you can make them perfect with this eyeliner is can be used on brows as well. There are different shades depending on your brow color. Do not make eye brows too close together or too far apart. Make a slight arch if one is not already there. Next use the rubber eraser like end of the liner to blend the brows and or eyeliner as well. Your look is complete!! I knew you could do it! Hollywood has nothing on you now!

Skin like any other body organ needs maintenance and attention to perform at it's best! There are so many ways to help keep the skin looking it's best. Some ways are easier than others but a few minutes of applying a facial mask can greatly reduce dead skin cells to uncover more vibrant skin.
Dead skin cells need to be removed or exfoliated by peel off masks,chemical peels, facial scrubs or micro derm abrasion techniques. Removing these dead layers of skin can lessen fine lines that can get trapped in make up or facial foundations and powders creating that wrinkled look we so much are trying to avoid. Now that you know what we need to do allow me to tell you about some cheap products that help my skin look smooth and feel fresh and rejuvenated!

I just love Queen Helene mud masks and peel off masks! They are very cheap and seem to work as well as more expensive brands. I have tried the mint julep mask. This is great for clearing up acne or black heads. It also helps shrink pores that may become enlarged. I also love Queen Helene Grape seed extract peel off mask that helps exfoliate and remove dirt oils and dead skin cells. This also works well. Another mud mask that works well is Queen Helene mud Pack Masque. This mask helps soften fine lines as well as tightens the skin. All three of these masks work wonderful to remove impurities for the skin to enhance the appearance of the skin.
The best part is that you can get these products at your local beauty supply store such as Sally's Beauty Supply. Even C.V.S may carry these products as well. I have had wonderful experiences with these masks and it wouldn't be fair if I didn't share this with you. There are so many products on the market today but if you take my advise for skin care it will save you time and money searching for products that just don't work!

Bloating is something we may have all experienced at some point in our lives. Woman tend to get bloating just before and during the onset of her menstrual cycle due to hormone levels. Men and woman can also experience bloating as a result of high sodium levels and eating large meals as well as taking in too much air while eating. Digestive disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome also contribute to this condition as well as many other bowel disorders.

First evaluate your diet plan to see if you are getting bloated after eating certain foods that may create excess gas. Dairy can also be a factor that may cause bloating. Dairy contains lactose that many people find difficult to digest. Artificial sweeteners such as Splenda or others may contribute as well. Soda contains carbonation that may disturb the digestive tract as well. If you are constantly bloated no matter what you should consult your doctor to receive a full exam and determine the cause of these symptoms.

There are a few ways that may help reduce bloating in any given situation. First you must drink 8 glasses of water per day to reduce sodium levels in the body. Increasing water intake daily can help. Cranberry juice has been know to help bloating as it has diuretic properties. Chamomile tea and peppermint tea helps me reduce bloating. Coffee is a known diuretic. Having a cup or two can help if you need an energy boost! Try to stay away from foods that cause gas such as certain veggies or beans. If dairy doesn't agree with you than consider a lactose supplement to help digestion. Exercise is can also help get things moving and contribute to reduction in water weight gain. Keep a food journal and keep tract of your diet and bloating to find the foods to avoid! Professional Manicure made simple!

Everyone wants nice nails but we all don't have the time or money to get a manicure every week due to cost or busy life styles. The solution is very simple! Do your own manicure! It does not require as much time or effort and you can do it in your own in your spare time!
First you need to get your supplies. You will need cuticle cream remover, a cuticle pusher, clear base coat and top coat of nail polish,nail buffer,nail brush, bowl and nail filer. You may already have many of these products at your home already! These nail supplies are available at your local Walmart Store as well as CVS or Walgreens. Don't forget cotton Balls and nail polish remover as well to remove any existing nail polish.
Obviously remove any existing nail polish with nail polish remover. Cotton balls work great to remove polish.
Now to begin, You need to clean your hands with soap and water and then dry them well. Then apply cuticle cream to the top of each nail bed right under your skin on your finger nails. Just a tiny dot the size of a tear drop is more than enough on each nail. Then use your cuticle pusher to remove dead cuticle with slow and steady pressure. Repeat for all 10 nails. Then rinse hands off with soap and clean under nails with a nail brush. Start filing the nails. Remember not to file across like you are sawing an object! File the nails from the outside corner in and not straight across so the nails are not weakened by improper filing techniques. Repeat on both sides on all 10 nails.
Next you may buff the nails with a multi surface buffer. It is important to use all sides of the buffer in order. They come with quick and easy instructions. Just gently buff the tops of the nails side to side and always finish with the buffer surface that creates shine. This is amazing and make the nails look like the have a clear polish but it is the shine from the nails!
You are ready for a coat of polish of your choice. I love OPI nail polish brand. Make sure you apply the polish in 3 to 4 steady strokes so you do not apply too much polish. This can create a mess on the nails. You may want to apply 2 coats of colored polish. Lastly you apply a clear shine top coat to enhance the color you have chosen and to help your nail color last longer and provide a glossy finish. Let nails dry for 15 minutes. There are also sprays to help make nails dry quicker or a nail dryer can help as well.
If you want a fancy look there are nail accessories such as flowers or sparkle stickers to that look professional at your local Walmart but make sure your paint is dry before you apply these fancy nail stickers!

Everyone wants to look their best but sometimes temptation can get the best of us. Perhaps you are going food shopping and you are starving. This is not a good idea because you may fill your cart with a ton of foods you crave at that moment of hunger. Always have a snack or eat prior to food shopping! It is a must for a heath conscience person or dieter.

There are many diet snacks to choose form at your local food store so choice wisely. Remember to look a carbohydrate content as well as fat,saturated fat,sodium as well as sugars. If something is fat free but full or sodium and sugar than it is probably not going to help your diet or healthy life style changes. Eating unhealthy products consistently can cause weight issues. Also watch your pasta and bread intake. These foods tend to be stored as fat if you are not doing a good amount of running or fast pace exercise. Soda is also not a healthy choice. Try to limit your cheese and dairy because they tend to be harder to digest and can create weight gain.

If you really want to stay healthy and keep extra weight off even if you want to go to events or holiday parties or even summer cook outs with friends. My tip is to also eat prior to the event. A couple small snacks can help so you don't indulge in every temptation you feast your eyes on! Also remember to continue to hydrate yourself with plenty of water. It can help you feel full while flushing toxins form the body. If you feel thirsty than you are already in the first stage of dehydration.

Some wonderful snacks that I love to enjoy are Quaker Rice cakes. They come in many flavor varieties and they have flavor. I enjoy fiber one granola bars and I love every flavor. They provide a days fiber in only approximately 2 bars or servings. Fresh fruit and veggies are always a healthy choice. If you mix some of your favorite fruits and veggies together in a juicing machine you can create a wonderful healthy shake full of antioxidants. I also love all flavors of fiber one cereal. I frequently enjoy chicken Cesar Salads with low fat dressing and grilled chicken. Lean poultry and fish are wonderful choices. Salmon is full of omega 3 fatty acids. Most seafood is healthy if you don't deep fry it and add fats to them when prepared. Veggie burgers and turkey burgers are healthy choices as well as salmon burgers. REMEMBER TO EAT SMALL SNACKS FREQUENTLY TO STIMULATE YOUR METABOLISM. Exercise is also a necessary part to a healthy life style. Even a brisk walk can help or a 30 minutes 3 times a week or more on the Treadmill can just start fat burning. Lifting weights can help regain lost strength and may help increase energy levels. If you are tired try 3 hour energy before you work out. This provides energy without the crash.

The word friend can bear many meanings. There are many levels of friendship. People we consider friends commonly come and go in our lives for a variety of reasons. As life progresses we often come to the realization that we no longer have 25 different people we consider friends constantly ringing our phones like we had when we were teenagers.
There are many reasons why our choices of friends tend to change as well as diminish over time. This usually begins begins as early as High School or just after college graduation. People move from state to state going to college or finding employment. Then a few years down the road many settle down and marry and soon to follow is bearing and raising children. These circumstances require the majority of a person's time to put towards career and family.
Frequently friendship is a matter or common interest as well as differences and personality traits.Friendships can thrive simply because of a common respect and understanding of one another.
Trust is a huge deal breaker with friendships. If you love being around a certain friend but you wouldn't trust them with your pet hamster than chances are you may drift apart at some point in the relationship. If you can't tell someone something in confidence than frustration is soon to follow in it's path.
Everyone has the fun or dare devil type of friend that may influence you to make decisions you may not other wise make if you choose to stay home that evening. Some have that party animal type of friend that is fun but is sometimes hard to keep up with in between Jello shots and hip thrusts at the club!
Often Timing is often a large factor for thriving friendships. If your best friend just had a new baby and is married but you are searching For Mr. Right or maybe even Mr. Right now you may be living your lives on different time lines. This can negatively effect a friendship if one is too busy to have the same kind of friendship before children and marriage.
Another factor that may significantly hinder the longevity of a friendship is Jealousy. This is common in some friendships. Perhaps your good friend is just doing so wonderful and landed an incredible job and has the perfect family and the other friend is just not sure what direction they are going in life and may be envious of the friend that just has everything.
To take this jealousy to the ultimate level friends may be sweet to each other in person but are secretly happy with the misery of the other friend. Almost a feeling of wow my friend's life is so bad it makes me feel like a million buck. Now is this a friend? Ask yourself?
If your friend is not there for you just because they love and care for you than it is time to ask yourself. Is it time to dump my jealous friend? If your friend is not genuine in their friendship and they can't be happy for you in your life's achievements. The answer is clearly yes!

Warning signs that he is just not that into you!

If you are considering the dating world than don't just put yourself out there without brushing up on a few dating a relationship skills of your own. If he is into you he should pass my little test.
If you are going to date someone new than make sure he is worth your time. Life is short so take advantage of this by eliminating the bad seeds before you bother to water them. Remember relationships are great if they are with the right person for you.

Now when your date meets you somewhere make sure he is on time. If he isn't than he doesn't want to impress you too much. If he is willing to start your date off on a bad note. If your date calls you in advance to tell you he is in traffic or something unavoidable than you may give him a second chance for now.
Make sure your new love interest has good manners and talks with respect. If you don't receive that when dating than believe me he is not marriage material.
Why waste your time?

Let's hope he is clean showered and hygienically ready to actually be on a date. Clean clothes and nice smelling cologne are all factors than he wants to impress you. Woman love when a man puts effort into himself as well as his potential love interest.

Grabbing drinks or dinner at a restaurant or club is frequently where some singles take time to mingle with each other but keep in mind. If he has a wondering eye than he is not really into the current situation meaning you babe! Every one notices a beautiful woman but if he is nearly drooling over the woman behind you than look for the nearest exit!

Simple ways to lose weight and stay heathy!

Drink lots of water. Water cleanses all the organ's and tissues of the body. It helps organs do their job. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water can help eliminate water retention as well. Who knew drinking water may actually relieve bloating by decreasing sodium levels.

Try to cut down on breads and pasta. These foods tend to store fat if not burned off in moderate exercise. Carbohydrates are good if you are an athlete and burn these off with no problem but most of us are not professional athlete's.

Try to eliminate unnecessary sugars from your diet. Too much sugar raises insulin levels in the body that may contribute to obesity.

Cut out fake sugars or sweeteners. These tend to give a person a a false sense of satisfaction but these fake sugars are not natural sugars they are chemical substances that may effect your health. Only time will tell the long term effects of splenda. I just don't think it is worth the risk. Sometimes we must sacrifice sweetness for good heath!

Fat free foods are not foods are not always healthy! A product may contain an enormous amount of sugar but has no fat. For example fat free gummy bears! However this sugar is turned into fat if the excess sugar is not metabolized.

Try to eat organic fruits and veggies as well as lean poultry and lean meats such as turkey. Fresh fruits and veggies are good for your body and you may indulge and feel guilt free.

Read packaging and food labels for appropriate sodium levels. If the sodium levels are 2000 per serving and you have 2 serving than you greatly surpass your sodium levels in one meal. You need to recognize that 2400 milligrams of sodium per day is all one needs. Eating food high in sodium makes the body retain fluid. This leads to water weight gain.

Go for an evening stroll. You don't have to run a marathon or do excessive exercise but a nice evening walk can get things moving.

Make sure you are getting your daily fiber. There are many ways to get fiber these days in tasteful ways. There is tasty Fiber one granola bars in delicious flavors as well as Fiber one cereal. This incredible shampoo and conditioner is only two dollars each! This price is just too good to be true!
As a hair care professional myself I can really speak for the Salon products on the market today. I have worked at salon's and spa's and I notice woman paying hundreds of dollars on hair care products that promise to revive damaged or unhealthy hair. Many salon products do help nurture the hair's cuticle and help prevent further damage from the everyday blow dryer and flat irons as well as the environmental factor's but they do cost quite a bit of money .
Sometimes when we spend more we are simply just spending more. There is no feeling like buying a product that is inexpensive but actually works. Suave is one of those products that can give you that expensive look without paying the price.

I think we all want to have that beautiful white smile. A smile means so much because it is the visual essence of our expression of happiness. We all want to be confident when we smile and not feel uncomfortable about the possibility someone may have noticed your yellow teeth!
There are so many ways to whiten your teeth but most require so much time and effort as well as a few hundred dollars.Dentists charge hundreds for laser whitening and it is temporary until the next time you indulge in soda, coffee, wine or other beverages and foods that stain the teeth.
I went to my local Walmart and purchased Listerine whitening strips for just under twenty dollars. At the time there was even a coupon attached to the package so I paid even less than the retail price!
I used then twice a day for a few days and I noticed a big difference. My teeth were already shades whiter.These strips were so simple to apply and they dissolve so you don't even have to remove them. I also didn't experience any tooth sensitivity. No one even knew I had them in so I ran my daily errands with the white strips on. This saved me so much time.
